Construction

The Parfait Active Sports Bra is a supportive sports bra designed to keep up with your workout. The molded cups, supportive band, and full coverage work together to reduce bounce and provide stability for C to G cup sizes. The seamed cups and hidden underwire contour the bust.

The foam cups are designed to completely encompass your breast tissue without compressing or flattening your breasts. The wide bra band is designed to stay in place – no need to worry about it rolling up. The Parfait Active Sports Bra is constructed in moisture-wicking Coolpass fabric and breathable mesh to keep you cool and comfortable.

Fit

One of the best features of the Parfait Active Sports Bra involves the straps, which are secured by rings that can be moved to a different slot for the most secure fit. This design feature also means that the bra can be worn regular or with the straps crossed in back. Additionally, it means that the straps won’t fall off your shoulders if you have narrow shoulders.

Another favorite feature to note? The wide band and multi-hook and eye closure feel snug and secure without feeling restricting. With sports bras, the fit of the bra band is crucial and the Parfait Active Sports Bra excels in this area.

When choosing a size for the Parfait Active Sports Bra (or any sports bra), remember that sports bras typically fit tighter than your regular bras. This is largely due to the fabric choice (you want a fabric with minimal stretch for a medium to high impact sports bra) and purpose (sports bras need to be snug to keep your bust in place during quick and rigorous movements). Depending on your comfort level and tolerance for a snug band, you may prefer your sister size (one size larger in the band and one size smaller in the cup).

The Parfait Active Sports Bra is a bra-sized sports bra. Instead of using XS-4XL sizing, the Parfait Active Sports Bra is designed in bra sizes 34-44C, 30-44D, DD, E, F, FF, G. This means that you can start with the bra size that you’d typically buy and use it as a guide for getting the best fit with this style.

How to style the Parfait Active Sports Bra

If you don’t like your sports bra showing, the full coverage neckline works perfectly under crewneck tops. It can also be worn on its own with high waisted leggings or under a fitted zip-jacket or pullover top. The full coverage fit ensures that you won’t have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions or breast tissue spilling out of the cups while you’re getting your workout on.

The Parfait Active sports bra is available in three colors: Black/White, Infinity Blue, and Claret Red. All three styles feature contrast coloring (black and white, blue and black, red and black) for a bold look and the same supportive fit.

Care

Proper care is crucial if you want your lingerie to last. We recommend washing bras and panties in cold water and avoiding the dryer at all costs. Hand washing lingerie is the gentlest option (as it involves the least amount of agitation), but machine washing on the delicate cycle is also an option if you don’t have time to hand wash. If you do machine wash your bras, be sure to hook them first, separate the colors (bright colors may bleed onto your light-colored bras), and sort them into mesh lingerie bags. Panties should also be sorted by color and placed in separate bags so the bra hooks don’t snag delicate underwear.

To wash, use a gentle detergent or laundry soap designed for lingerie and wash them on a delicates cycle in cold water. Once they’re washed, either hang dry them (drape the center front of the bra over the hanger – don’t hang a wet bra by its straps) or lay them flat to dry (away from sunlight which can cause the colors to fade over time) with the cups facing up.

Lastly, be extra careful when storing your bras. For molded bras, line them up in a drawer with the cups facing up – one bra in front of the other. Unlined bras, bralettes, and non-molded sports bras can be folded in half and stacked on top of each other to save space. Panties can be folded and sorted by color or style in a lingerie drawer.

Can you believe it’s already 2019? In this article, we’re celebrating 2018 and sharing what’s to come in 2019.

Looking back on 2018

As a whole, 2018 was a big year for us. We dove into the concept of the “Perfect Figure” and partnered with a group of amazing women to remind you that all figures are perfect in their own beautiful ways through our #PerfectFigures campaign.

We published article after article on bra fitting, bra sizing, and lingerie care to help you find bras to help you navigate the tricky world of bra shopping.

We interviewed some of the best lingerie stores (with more to come in 2019) and shared dozens of reasons why you should shop local on our blog.

We introduced new styles

2018 was full of new styles. In the spring, we launched a strapless Low-Back Bustier in Black, Pearl White, and Nude for special occasion dresses and wedding dresses that provides the support and shaping you’ve been searching for.

Two new wireless bras, the Aline Wire-Free Padded Bra and Emma Soft Padded Bra, followed shortly after. Both styles offer the perfect amount of support and lift without any underwire.

We also introduced a new bralette, the Dalis Bralette, in super soft modal and lace. This gorgeous style features a snug band, seamed cups for shaping, lace trimmed straps, and a J-hook that converts the bra to a racerback style with a flick of the wrist.

We launched MOD By Parfait, a new lingerie and swimwear line

One of the most exciting events of the year involved the launch of our sister line, MOD By Parfait. This first limited-edition collection launched with a mix of basics and trendy styles in neutral hues.

For Autumn/Winter 2018, we took the creative direction further and introduced a stunning Cross Plunge Padded Bra, lacy Unlined Wire Bra, supportive Racerback Bra, wire-free padded Strapless Bra, and luxe lurex-threaded Bodysuit with endless styling options. Coming in 2019

Our first ever nursing bra

Speaking of 2019, big things are coming. After years of development, our first Nursing Bra is launching this spring in Black and Bare. The stunning style is designed with lightweight cups, a supportive band lined in power mesh with a triangle-patterned tricot overlay, and, best of all, an easy to use nursing hook that can be opened with one hand.

For Spring 2019, we’re also launching three new lingerie collections you won’t want to miss. Briana, a glam collection with beautiful floral embroidery, leads the way with a Padded Bra, Unlined Wire Bra, Bikini, and Highwaisted Brief.

Effortlessly chic Ciara is up next with a comfortable yet supportive Bralette and matching Bikini. The wireless fabric and moisture-wicking of the Bralette will keep you comfortable all day long – making this a great lounge bra or sleep bra too.

Last in the lineup is the Vanna collection, complete with a sexy Plunge Padded Bra, supportive Unlined Wire Bra, and matching Hipster trimmed in floral lace.

New colors

Of course, we couldn’t forget about your tried-and-true favorites, too. After listening to your feedback, we’ve added new colors to your favorite styles. Our popular Adriana and Enora collections will get fresh new color updates in beautiful Raspberry for spring.

Retro-inspired Charlotte is coming in a neutral-hued Blossom Print that is super easy to wear.

Lace stunner Cora will be updated in a soft Pale Blush shade. The Unlined Longline Bra offers support, shaping, and lift without any extra padding.

With Black and Navy Blue already available, our comfortable modal collection, Dalis, will see a warm, medium-toned shade added with Bare.

We’re giving lacy Sandrine a bridal-ready update in classic Ivory for spring as well.

Lastly, we’ll be introducing a new color, Surf, for our comfortable Parfait Panty So Essential collection and another new color, Raspberry, for our sexy Parfait Panty So Glam collection.

(Side Note: Don’t you just love when a favorite style comes in one than one color? We’re fans of buying multiples when you find a bra with a phenomenal fit. Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra

Construction

The Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra is a sexy lace bra with a longline silhouette. The molded demi cups feature a plunging neckline and lace overlay that lifts and shapes the bust and frames the décolletage. This pretty style features a wide, multi-hook band that is as supportive as it is beautiful. Side boning in the band works to keep the bra in place – no need to worry about the bra rolling up throughout the day.

Aside from being aesthetically beautiful, the true beauty of this bra lies in its construction and fabrication. The molded cups are lined and designed to create a rounded shape that evens out asymmetrical breasts and provides lift and support without any extra padding. The lace overlay found on the cups, wings, and band feels lightweight and adds a romantic element to the flattering fit. This style works for a multitude of breast shapes. The plunging cut requires the center gore to be cut low – making this bra a good style for most round, tear drop, and wide set breast shapes.

Fit

The Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra features a power mesh-lined band with a lace overlay. Due to the firm fit and minimal stretch of the power mesh, the band fits very snug. If you find a firm band uncomfortable, you may want to opt for your sister size (up one size in the band and down one size in the cup) for this style.

From personal experience with this style, the cup size of your sister size will have relatively the same volume and will fit closely to your regular bra size while the band will provide a little room for a more comfortable fit. Also, the bra fits the same in all colors, so you can order with confidence if you’re purchasing one or two at a time (I wear and love the Black, Cameo Rose, and French Blue).

How to style the Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra

Before we get to styling the Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra, let’s talk about the impressive color range. This style is available in five colors (Black, Cameo Rose, French Blue, Wild Pink, and Burgundy) with bridal beauty Ivory on the way for Spring/Summer 2019. The Black and Cameo Rose are gorgeous neutrals and the French Blue, Wild Pink, and Burgundy are also surprisingly easy to wear (wear them anytime you’d opt for a black or bold colored bra).

The longline silhouette of the Sandrine Plunge Longline Bra lends itself to a bunch of different styling options. You could wear it as a top under a blazer, jacket, or cardigan and show off the stunning style on a night out or pair it with a button down, sheer top, or V-neck dress for a glam daytime look. Once you get used to the snug fit of the band, you’ll find that it nips in the torso and provides a smoother silhouette under clothing – making it a great choice to wear under a fitted dress or with a high waisted brief for a little shaping.

The Sandrine Hipster is a hipster cut panty in all-over lace. It features wide cut panels in sheer lace that hug curves without feeling restricting. This style runs true to size and has the perfect amount of stretch. It’s not meant to fit tight, but rather skim over the body. The lace is high-quality and doesn’t feel scratchy. The leg openings are cut thin and without elastic so you don’t have to worry about them digging into your thighs. The elastic at the waistband keeps the panty in place and doesn’t dig into hips. Aside from being feminine and classically chic, the Sandrine Hipster is one of those styles that is so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing underwear. If you’re looking for a replacement for your old, worn out undies (new year, new lingerie!), this is a style you’ll want in every color.
