One can never have too many floral prints. Moody jewel-tone and black-based florals liven up dark fall wardrobes while white and pastel-based florals add a breathe of fresh air in the spring and summer months when flowers bloom anew. All of the floral prints below pair beautifully with neutral colors – cream, white, nude, navy, and black. If you’re feeling daring, pair the darker styles from Pleasure State (#2, Top Shop (#6), and Parfait (#9) with a bold leopard print or a top with retro black and cream polka dots. The floral bralette from Samantha Chang (#7) and sweet style from Dolce and Gabbana (#4) play well with black and white stripes, hot pink, and charcoal gray. As an ode to the 1970s, the Top Shop triangle bra (#8) looks stunning on its own or with tan, cognac, or chocolate brown accents. Can’t you just picture it with a half-buttoned tunic or wrap dress with the pretty embroidery peeking out?

Romantics can set hearts aflutter by pairing the Stella McCartney bra (#5) or Xirena bralette (#3) with mustard yellow, opulent gold, olive green, or persimmon (for those who love the cheeriness of orange) or go the opposite route and pair the Blugirl bra (#1) with blush or fuschia for a look that’s perennially pretty in pink. A parting tip? Don’t be afraid to pair luxe florals with your favorite metals. Rose gold, platinum, and gold shine against these floral prints and raw, natural stones add a unique touch that’s a cut above the rest. Below, my favorite light and dark floral bras for adding a touch of whimsy to your spring outfit:

Bare with me – I might turn your nose up for a minute. I do not shower frequently. I originally had no reasoning behind not showering except to say I was lazy. Now that I’ve been showering so infrequently, I have gained an insight into how powerful it is to enjoy your scent, embrace nature’s gift and help make aware the frequency of your showering habits. If you ask me, benefits of not showering outweigh the benefits of showering. I shower once a week and I do still have a full-time job with no smelly complaints to HR and a supportive partner who has grown accustomed to my routine. I’ve learned throughout this journey that it’s much more than neglecting the normalized nighttime routine. Instead, it’s really about the feeling I’ve acquired. No longer do I feel like I have to justify myself. I am me in my simplest form.

Here’s what I learned:

1.  I have an appreciation for what I eat.

oatmeal breakfast bowl with fruit and acai - How Showering Less Helped Me Appreciate My Body More

Yes, I have an appreciation for what I eat. I’m conscious with my eating decisions because I’m well aware that what I eat will greatly impact the odor I give off. I do not eat greasy foods, gluten or dairy. My taste buds have adapted to bitter flavors. When I eat like a koala, I find my odor is less potent if not existent. When I slip up and want a bite of something sweet, I notice a distinct change in my odor. I try and avoid the foods listed above for the sole reason my body’s natural scent will be affected greatly.

2.  You synthesize less Vitamin D.

20161105 IMG 8574 - How Showering Less Helped Me Appreciate My Body More

Parfait Jeanie Unlined Wire Bra 4801 | Jeanie Hipster 4805 in Java

I have very fair skin. The moments I enjoy outdoors are special and sacred. Showering less keeps the sun’s natural vitamins such as vitamin D inside the body. Think of it like sunscreen. Washing less of it off keeps more locked in your skin for a more “natural” shield of protection.

3.  You become thankful for water and its simplicity.

water with lemon and mint900 - How Showering Less Helped Me Appreciate My Body More

When you don’t shower, you are thankful for the gift of water. When you do shower, the water overcomes your soul and suddenly, you see its power. Water is a delicate gift given to us. When we realize its simplicity, its purpose and its purifying nature, we begin to cherish it is not meant to be wasted. My one shower a week is almost a spiritual experience. As soon as the water touches my skin, I become very aware of each droplet.

4.  You don’t remove your natural oils.

avocado oil - How Showering Less Helped Me Appreciate My Body More

When I do bathe, I bathe in oils. I either use a blend of sesame oil and avocado oil or jojoba oil and avocado oil. Keeping your body’s natural oils helps preserve your skin. In fact, showering does not actually help prevent infection like some may think. All the scrubbing you may be doing could help remove the stink, but actually may cause your skin to crack, leaving an open gap for germs. I’ve also noticed I wash my hair less and my hair appears less greasy.

5.  I like it. It’s that simple.

argan oil shea nut butter - How Showering Less Helped Me Appreciate My Body More

I am a conscious woman who likes to look good, feel good and smell good. Showering can give a sense of refreshment, but I achieve the same feeling using a small washcloth to warm my face or remove make-up. The less you shower, the more of a natural routine it becomes. Your body becomes accustomed to its new home in its own odor. After a while, I began forgetting I wasn’t showering. I was taking care of myself from the inside out.

I challenge you to try this for just one week. Note the differences in your skin, your mind and overall feeling. You might surprise yourself!

It’s no secret that as you get a little older, your body changes, and so does your memory. Slight forgetfulness is normal, but take heart. You don’t have to sit on the sidelines and let memory loss take its own course. There are things you can do to improve your memory and brain functioning. Here are my top 5:

1.  Stock Up on Fruits and Vegetables

foods that improve memory

When it comes to choosing foods that bolster your memory, eating fruits and vegetables should be high on your list. With vegetables, choose dark green, leafy ones like spinach and broccoli. And with fruit, choose anti-oxidants like pomegranate, black cherries, and blackberries.

2.  Don’t Forget About Protein

do nuts help with your memory

Image via Stocksnap

Your brain needs protein to stay alert and active. Meat isn’t the only source of protein, and that’s good news for vegetarians. Protein can be found in nuts and peanut butter, beans and lentils, leafy greens and green peas, seeds like sesame, poppy, and sunflower, and more.

3.  Play Fun Brain Games

brain training games for memory

Improving your memory doesn’t have to be boring. It can be fun, and you don’t have to spend a lot of money. Find a game that actually exercises your brain and boosts your memory. Some low-cost examples are solitaire, crossword puzzles, Old Maid, Go Fish, or tic tac toe. Some more expensive ones include mobile apps (like Lumosity and Happify), online games, Scrabble, and video games. You can play games alone while relaxing before bed or by the pool, or you can host a game night with your family and friends.

4.  Get Out and Exercise

does exercise improve memory

At first you may wonder how exercise can improve your memory, but physical activity gets your blood pumping, which sends oxygen to your brain, which makes you feel and act alert. When it comes to exercising, you can pay a membership to join a gym, or you can choose an activity at home to do with a friend or family member, like walk, bicycle, swim, or dance. If it’s been a while since you’ve exercised, or you just think it’s too hard, try it in small steps. Don’t overdo it or you’ll give up completely. Above all, find a physical activity that you enjoy. This improves your chances of staying with it.

5.  Focus on Rest and Relaxation

does sleep improve memory

Who would think that taking a short nap through the day, or getting an extra hour or two of sleep at night could improve your memory? It all goes back to the body-mind connection. When your body feels good, your brain feels good. When your brain feels good, your body feels good. It goes hand in hand. So when your body awakens feeling rested and ready to go, so does your brain, and therefore, your memory. Another tip to remember about getting proper rest is to avoid caffeine and sugar in the evening hours before bed. Make a comfortable routine out of retiring for the night. Take a warm bath or shower, play soft music, read a nice book. Pamper yourself at bedtime, and your memory will thank you.

Part rocker chick, part feminine chic, black lace is always sexy. It pair beautifully with sheer blouses, soft leather jackets, and lighter than air chiffon dresses. If you’re looking for style inspiration, lace on lace is a winning combination, especially in black. When the weather heats up, nothing is prettier than a black lace bra under a dress with cut-out details. It plays well with most of the other colors in the spectrum and looks especially stunning with gold, silver, blush pink, and soft white. A go-to lingerie style for seductive femme fatales and retro glamour girls everywhere, there is nothing more quietly elegant than the hint of black eyelash lace under a perfectly worn-in t-shirt. After all, pretty bras aren’t meant for date night only. Below, my favorite black lace bras perfect for everyday wear:

Who doesn’t love a good bargain? As a member of the Full Bust Club, I struggled for the longest time with finding affordable bras that last for more than a few washes. In fact, I didn’t truly feel supported until I discovered Charlotte, Jeanie, and Aline. But before I talk about why I love these three styles, I should mention that I’m pretty picky when it comes to lingerie and prefer not to settle for a sub-par fit. Here’s why: there are so many bras options out there that you should never settle for a bra that doesn’t fit well.

Back to Charlotte, Jeanie, and Aline, these three bras are all on solid rotation in my lingerie wardrobe. If I knew they were going to be my daily go-tos, I would have tried them a lot sooner. When you have bras that fit well, wardrobe planning becomes so much easier. I don’t have to worry about busting out of my dresses because I have Jeanie, Charlotte is one of the prettiest t-shirt bras I own, and Aline is one of the styles I find myself reaching for constantly. By finding the styles that work best (and it’s always a good idea to buy your favorites in multiple colors), you can spend time doing other things, like getting a few extra minutes of sleep!

As the old saying goes “If you don’t try, you’ll never know” and these styles are definitely worth trying. Whether you’re shopping for new bras on a budget or searching for a replacement for a priceless old favorite, here are 3 essential t-shirt bras under $50 made for big boobs:

1.  Charlotte Padded Bra ($42-$48)

best plus size bras

Charlotte Padded Bra 6901 and Charlotte Bikini 6905 in Bronze

Simply put, the Charlotte collection is stunning. Beautiful satin details, eye-catching contrast color seams, and a big satin bow bring all of the attention to your decolletage. Aside from being ridiculously pretty, the innovative fit and construction prove that Charlotte is truly a powerhouse style. If you take a closer look, you’ll find three-part cups that lift and center boobs for a perfectly rounded shape and powermesh wings that feel like a supportive hug around your ribcage. As a style that isn’t seamless, this bra is designed to be worn under thicker t-shirts. The Charlotte Padded Bra is available in size 28D to 40K in select colors with B and C cups in select band sizes!

2.  Jeanie Plunge Molded Bra ($40-$45)

sexy bras for big boobs

Jeanie Plunge Molded Bra 4801 in Black and Jeanie Hipster 4805 in Panther Print

Looking for the perfect plunge bra? Look no further than Jeanie. As a t-shirt bra in smooth microfiber fabric with seamless cups and a low center gore, Jeanie checks all the right boxes. It’s the perfect bra for date night or under a dress or top with a plunging neckline. It’s also available in a bunch of colors, from hot pink to java to navy blue.

3.  Aline T-Shirt Bra ($49)

best fust bras

Aline T-Shirt Bra P5251 and Aline Bikini P5253 in Nude

It’s no surprise Aline is one of the best-selling t-shirt bras. A fan favorite, Aline works for many different breast tissue shapes. The cups provide a nicely rounded shape and all but disappear under t-shirts while the supportive band feels snug but stretches comfortably with wear. Best of all, I love the seamless and silky smooth striped fabric. This is one of those styles that I don’t mind wearing for hours because it’s so comfortable!

Which style will you be picking up at your local lingerie store?

Specialty bra stores are easy to find if you know where to look! Here are a few tips and tricks to help you find a retailer in your area:

Use Our Store Locator to Locate A Lingerie Store Near You

Visit the store locator here.

1. Select flag of the country you’re searching in (located at the top right of the page.)

2. Click the purple ‘Find A Local Store‘ button (located at the top left of the page.)

3.  Type your zip code into the box to the right of ‘Zip / Address‘.

4.  Select the ‘Radius‘.

Use Google To Find A Lingerie Store In Your Area

bra fitting stores

Casey Plunge Molded Bra and Casey Boyshort in Ruby Wine

For Google, type “Lingerie Stores Near Me” and your zip code into the search bar.

Google will then automatically create a list with the stores closest to you. Google also provides other helpful information, such as store addresses, store hours, average price points, and telephone numbers.

With these keywords, you might notice that Google may include department stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom and major lingerie retailers like Victoria’s Secret in the search results. This is great if you’re searching generally for stores that sell lingerie, but what if you’re looking for a smaller specialty store instead?

Finding a smaller specialty store may take an extra step, but it’s worth it.

If you’re looking specifically for a lingerie specialty store close to you, try typing “Lingerie Specialty Store Near Me” and your zip code.

Instead of only looking at the listings at the top of the search results, scroll down to the middle and bottom of the page. With this search option, you should see more specialty stores than major retailers in the search results.

Pro Tip: If Google knows your location, you can bypass the above step and just type in “Lingerie Specialty Store”.

Use Yelp To Find A Lingerie Retailer Near You

Yelp is an excellent tool for finding lingerie stores in your area. It’s also the perfect place to read reviews before shopping somewhere new. Whether you’re using the mobile app or desktop version, Yelp is pretty easy to use.

To find a lingerie retailer with Yelp, type “lingerie store” in the “Find search box and your city and/or zip code in the “Nearsearch box.

With Yelp, you can also filter the search results by the cities, rating, reviews, distance, price, features, and category. I always recommend sorting by rating or reviews.

Ask any bra fitter about their favorite part of their job and they’ll likely say it’s the moment of joy that comes from helping a woman find a bra that truly fits. Bra fitting is one of the most rewarding jobs out there, but it does come with its own unique set of challenges.

Every day, hundreds of thousands of women visit lingerie stores for new bras. On any given day, you can find bra experts fitting women who have never been fit before and offering style and fit solutions for the most challenging bra problems.

As a fit expert, it’s a bra fitter’s job to help women find the best bras for their body shape and budget. They spend countless hours learning the new products, memorizing the brands, size ranges, price points, and key differences between styles, and, most importantly, teaching women about bra fit and bra care.

While providing a fun and seamless shopping experience is near the top of their list, bra fitters also want you to feel beautiful and comfortable in your lingerie. After all, lingerie stores are stocked with the prettiest bras and panties for a reason!

Whether you’re getting your first bra fitting or your twenty fifth, here are 10 bra-fitting and lingerie store secrets professional bra fitters want you to know:

1.  Get to know the sales associates at your favorite lingerie store.

3.  Call ahead or check online for the store’s hours before visiting.

Since the hours of operation can vary from store to store, you’ll be able to plan your day better if you know when they’re open. Many stores also offer extended hours during the holiday season, so it’s smart to plan ahead.

4.  Appointments for bra fittings aren’t mandatory, but they’re helpful if you’re shopping for a special occasion, bridal lingerie, or a new bra wardrobe.

Not all stores sell t-shirts, so it’s best to bring your own. By trying on a potential bra under a t-shirt, you’ll be able to determine if you like the shape of the bra under the shirt and if the bra is seamless enough to wear underneath. If you’re shopping for an event, be sure to bring the top or dress that you plan on wearing. This quick tip helps a lot with reducing the amount of bras you return!

7.  Don’t be shy in asking for a second opinion.

Who else is ready for new lingerie? The first day of spring is coming up on March 20 and all we can think about is how the season’s prettiest blush pinks and soft prints are going to look against our sunkissed skin. With spring cleaning already under way, we’re packing away the rich, dark colors we wore throughout winter in favor of softer colors with floral embroidery and sheer stretch lace. This season, we’re seeing pretty pastels, fresh designs in white and ivory, and a lot of lace.
