How To Wear A Bodysuit Without A Bra

Do you wear a bra under your bodysuits? You might prefer to wear a push-up bra underneath because it makes your bust look bigger or more symmetrical. Or maybe you add a bra underneath because you wear a D+ cup size and don’t feel comfortable going without one.

So how do you make it work without sacrificing support and comfort? Read on for everything you need to know about wearing a bodysuit without a bra.

1.  Choose a bodysuit with wired bra-sized cups

Don’t want to wear a bra under your bodysuit? If you choose a bodysuit with bra cups, you won’t feel the need to. Bra-sized bodysuits have the added benefit of a supportive bra-like top. They’re essentially a bra and bodysuit all in one.

2.  Look for a bodysuit with padded wireless cups

A bodysuit with padded cups is another excellent option if you want to wear a bodysuit without a bra. Padded wire-free cups offer the rounded look of a t-shirt bra but without any wire. The Allure Bodysuit is an example of a beautiful yet supportive wire-free bra cup sized bodysuit. Available in sizes 32B-38F (UK bra sizing), this stunning bodysuit provides the support of your favorite wireless bra but looks like a sexy bodysuit – perfect for layering under a sweater dress or with a favorite sweater, boyfriend jeans, and ankle boots for an effortlessly chic look.

3.  Try a bodysuit with unlined or seamed cups

Seamed or unlined cups combined with a seam under the bust offer light lift and support for all bra sizes. The cups may be wireless or with underwire and typically look like a beautiful bralette up top. Unlined or lightly lined cups offer a comfortable and less-restrictive alternative to bra-sized cups.

4.  Wear pasties or adhesive nipple covers

Let’s say you fall in love with a beautiful lace bodysuit that isn’t lined. Wearing a bra underneath would take away from the overall delicate look of the piece, so you’re trying to figure out how to wear it without one. If you want something that will provide coverage for your nipples, a pair of pasties or a set of adhesive nipple covers could be the answer. While pasties are typically disposable, adhesive nipple covers are often made of silicone and can be worn several times if they’re cared for properly (washing them after wear and storing them in the plastic holder that comes with them).

5.  Go braless and rock your bodysuit with confidence

Wearing a bra is entirely up to you. If you’re confident and happy without one, there’s no need to wear a bra with your bodysuit. Enjoy the freedom of going without and rock your bodysuit with confidence!

Bodysuits are a beautiful and versatile addition to any lingerie wardrobe. They provide lightweight support, they flatter a multitude of body types, they can be worn year round, and they work well layered in the autumn and winter seasons and as outerwear in the spring and summer seasons. Just like bralettes, we believe bodysuits are here to stay.
