5 Best Bras For Full Busts
Do know what the term “full-busted” means? Unfortunately, it’s one of those terms that is often used incorrectly. While you might be reading this and already know what the term means, there are many women that unfortunately don’t. So, we’re going to clear that up today!
What does full busted mean?
By definition, full-busted bras typically include bra sizes with a small band size and a large cup size. Depending on the brand, full-bust bra sizes can include: 28D-K, 30D-K, 32D-K, and 34D-K. But, remember: not all full-busted brands are created equal – some start at a DD cup instead of a D cup and may or may not go up to a K cup.
Full figured vs full busted
Full-busted is different than full-figured. Though they are both used in the lingerie industry to describe bra sizing, they do not mean the same thing and using them interchangeably can cause confusion for anyone shopping for bras (which you can learn more about here).

Why you should get a bra fitting first
Before shopping for new bras, we highly recommend getting a bra fitting at your local lingerie boutique first. After all, your bra size can change a lot throughout your life. Weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy, breastfeeding, age, and genetics can all contribute to a change in breast size.
So, if it has been six months or longer since you were last fitted (or if you’ve never had a bra fitting), it’s time for one. At the very least, even if your bra size hasn’t changed in six months, your bras are probably starting to show wear and tear. After all, your everyday bras aren’t meant to last years and years. In fact, the average lifespan of a bra is 6 months to 1 year depending on your wash and wear habits.
So, since it’s likely time for a few new bras, here are five fabulous bras for your full bust!
