Meet You At The Wing, A Women Only Club
If your job is anything like mine, you’re on the road scouting locations for photoshoots, while you’re uploading to social media and scheduling a model casting call. Sometimes we need some space. I’m not talking about a break, but an actually work space to gather our thoughts and think more clearly. Lucky for us, women, there are spaces specifically for women who need a quick office to reply to emails or, for the new mama, pump your breast milk!
I came across New York’s newest coworking space The Wing. They seriously outdid themselves. With the mission to provide women with a work and social space designed for convenience and connection, The Wing gives women a clean and feminine atmosphere to work in. No loud voices from aggressive business men or boring unisex furniture, here. Amenities include charging stations, makeup on demand, lockers, conference room, showers, food and a lactation room. If you ever just need a place to unhook your bra and take off your heels, you’ve found the right place. I’m in complete awe with the pink couch!
Eager to find a similar location in Los Angeles, I came across Paper Dolls, who, in luck, also caters to women only. These female social clubs come with a hefty price starting at $99/month, but worth it for the entrepreneurial women who, in return, get an invitation to private networking events, webinars and receive special training and speaker series. Do some research between your conference calls and find your local women-only social club space. Sometimes we, women, need to stick together to inspire and lift one another. Plus, everything is prettier when we work together.
